how Growth Engine works

the build happens in month one, the bill comes in month four

Every Engine includes a one-time $3,000 build fee for the work that gets your venue live: a dedicated landing page, advertising campaigns, and the system that answers inquiries from day one. The majority of that work happens in your first month. The bill comes in month four. By then, you will have three months of results in front of you.

Monthly fees adjust 7% once a year, starting after your first year. That is the only scheduled change, and it is written into your agreement from the day you sign.

the things venues ask first

what does the advertising budget cover?+
On Lead Engine and Growth Engine, you set the advertising budget and Sway manages where it goes. The budget is billed to your ad account, not to Sway, and goes directly to Meta and Google. Most venues start around $1,000 a month. On Open, the advertising is included in the $1,750.
how quickly will i see results?+
Results build through the first 60 to 90 days as the advertising learns your audience and the campaigns are refined for your market. Once the pipeline is dialed in, the flow stays steady. We will give you a specific forecast on our first call, based on your market and event types.
what is the commitment?+
Engine agreements run a 12-month term with a 6-month minimum. After six months, you can cancel with 30 days written notice. The minimum exists because the system needs time to build: month six performs differently from month one. Open has no commitment and includes a pro-rata refund if we deliver fewer than 10 inquiries.
how does the commission work?+
On Sales Engine and Growth Engine, Sway earns a share of the bookings it brings in: 12% on Sales Engine, 15% on Growth Engine. It comes off the reservation fee automatically, so you never write a separate check, and it is statemented to you each month. Walk-in and repeat business stays entirely yours. Lead Engine and Open carry no commission.
what if i am a nonprofit?+
We work with nonprofits and mission-driven venues, and we adjust to fit. Tell us about your organization in the form and we will put together an arrangement that works.
do i need to set up anything technical?+
No. Sway builds your venue page, the advertising, and the system that responds to inquiries. You share your brand photos and a few details about your events, approve what we build, and the rest is handled.
