event inquiries, converted into bookingsbooked
The first venue to answer usually wins the event. We make sure that's you, then we stay on every inquiry until it's a signed booking.
$1,800 a month + 12% of events bookedRepeat bookings from your established client list stay 100% yours.
your inquiries deserve a faster yes
Sales Engine is Sway's booking program for venues whose inquiries are already arriving. For $1,800 a month plus 12% of events booked during the term, your inquiries route to our booking team, and everything between hello and the signed contract happens in your venue's name: the first reply, the follow-up, the proposal, the tour when a host wants one, the confirmation. Repeat bookings from your established client list stay 100% yours.
Tania Anderson runs event booking across our venue portfolio, and her team answers as your venue: your voice, your menus, your rates. A host who inquires at 9pm on a Tuesday hears back from you before they've closed the tab.
the host's path
A host is the person planning the event, and every stage happens in your venue's name.
the first response wins
Most hosts contact two or three venues and book the one that answers. Every hour an inquiry sits, they're looking at someone else's photos.

days and days
How long it takes a host to hear back on the same inquiry.
The inbox is where bookings are won and lost. It's also where we live.
*Response via text and email on inquiries through Sway-managed channels, implemented Q1 2026. Tripleseat's 2026 Trends report names response time the highest-impact factor in closing private event sales; Cvent's 2025 Planner Sourcing Report found 80% of planners consider four days or fewer the ideal window; Tripleseat and EventUp operator guides note most hosts contact two to three venues before choosing.
the name on every message is yours
Texts, emails, proposals, confirmations: all of it reads as your venue, written in your voice with your rates and menus. Hosts believe they're talking to you, because in every way that matters, they are. We stay invisible, and your reputation does the shining.
we take the inbox. you keep the venue.
You opened a venue to host great events, and the message threads came with it. The split is simple: the work that lives online is ours, and the work that makes an event worth booking stays yours.
ours to run
- The five-minute first reply, by text and email, so yours is the first venue every host hears from again.
- The follow-up, until every inquiry has an answer, however long that takes.
- The proposals, written in your voice with your rates and menus.
- The scheduling, reminders, confirmations, and calendar juggling.
- The numbers, in a monthly report with a strategy call to read them with you.
yours to keep
- Your menus, rates, and rules. We quote them exactly as you set them.
- The tours. We put them on your calendar when a host asks. You show the space.
- The events themselves. The room, the food, the night they remember.
- Your established clients, commission-free. Those relationships are yours.
how a booking gets made
Fast when the host is fast. Patient when they're not. The system holds every inquiry either way.

venues that have the inquiries but not the time
You're running a venue. Inquiries come in during service, get pushed to tomorrow, and tomorrow becomes next week. Sales Engine puts a booking team behind every one of them, so the events you were already attracting stop slipping away.
the details venues ask first
which events carry the 12%?
Every event booked during the term, with one exception. Before work begins, you give us a list of your established clients, and repeat bookings from anyone on that list stay 100% yours.
Here's why the scope works that way. Once our team is answering and following up on every inquiry, it lifts bookings from every direction: the host who found you on Google, the referral, the friend of last month's birthday party. One clear scope keeps the whole arrangement simple. The commission is worked out for you and shown on your monthly statement, with nothing to calculate and nothing to send us, and our incentive lands exactly where yours does: more confirmed events on your calendar.
does this replace our events manager?
It frees them. Your people keep the tastings, the walkthroughs, the relationships, and the hosting. We take the first replies, the chasing, and the scheduling that eats their week. Good events people do their best work when the inbox isn't running them.
how do the inquiries reach you?
Through your existing channels. Your website form, your listings, your phone and email. During setup we route them into our response system, with nothing for your team to install or learn. From then on, every inquiry gets the five-minute reply, whatever door it came through.
can we pause during a slow season?
Yes. We built the Sway Bridge because we know what a slow season feels like from inside a venue. Once in any rolling 12 months, the monthly fee rests at zero for up to two months while the work continues at full speed; our share on events booked in the window is 20%, and standard terms resume when it closes. Use it or don't. It's in every agreement either way.
what happens in month four?
The $3,000 build fee is billed. The build happens in month one: routing your inquiry channels, building the response system, and writing your venue's voice into every reply and proposal. The bill comes in month four, once the program is producing.
what's the commitment?
A six-month minimum, then 30 days' notice to end. Every fee in the agreement is on this page.
